How Bee helps.

Bee connects people to positive, real-world actions happening in their communities. From neighborhood cleanups to local history talks and clothing swaps, Bee makes it easy to show up, get involved, and make a difference.

Who Bee is for.

Community Members who want to get a job done.

Most people want to help, they just don’t know where to start. They care about their community, but outdated systems and confusing processes get in the way. Bee turns good intentions into real action.

Community Leaders who want to elevate their work.

Change makers are everywhere, but outdated tools like spreadsheets and bulletin boards make it hard to organize help. Bee connects leaders with local doers through a simple, map-based platform. Posting an activity takes just a few minutes and instantly reaches potential helpers.

Collectives & Organizations who want to scale.

Collectives of individuals and organizations are already doing powerful work. But scaling that impact requires more than goodwill—it demands better tools. Bee gives collectives what they need to grow sustainably: systems that fractionalize effort, broaden reach, and inform decisions.

Change starts with people who feel capable of making a difference. We believe communities thrive when everyone has access to the right tools, resources, and opportunities.

Empowerment is about more than encouragement, it’s about equipping neighbors, leaders, and doers with the support they need to turn good intentions into real impact.

Lifelong learning fuels stronger communities. Education reminds us that no matter who we are, there is always more to discover, share, and improve.

By embracing curiosity and recognizing that wisdom exists in every person and place, we build a culture of openness, one where knowledge empowers action and growth.

Vermont Bee Fund

The Vermont Bee Fund is a community endowment formed to preempt costs for community leaders and small organizations incurred during Bee activities for supplies, food, and equipment.

These micro-grants are made in advance based on anticipated expenses, and range from $50 to $500 per activity. Grants are made in line with the following objectives:

  1. Maintain diversity of funding as it pertains to location, ethnicity, age, and gender.

  2. Provide transparent funding updates to communities.

  3. Prioritize at-need emergency funding.

To receive funding for your activity, please apply to host. We look forward to supporting your work!
